Conflict Minerals Policy Statement

AIMSYS’s commitments

We are working towards ensuring that our products do not contain Conflict Minerals that have been sourced from mines that support or fund conflict within the Democratic Republic of Congo or adjoining countries and CAHRA (Conflict Affected and High-Risk Areas) under Regulation (EU) 2017/821 Therefore, we are committed to:

­Identifying which AIMSYS products are impacted and targeting our efforts accordingly.

­Not buying products and materials containing Conflict Minerals directly from Conflict Mines.

­Asking our suppliers to work towards ensuring that any Conflict Minerals contained in the products and materials supplied to AIMSYS originate from Conflict Free Sources.

­Requiring our suppliers to transition away from Smelters and Refiners that have been reported publicly for money laundering or human rights violations, with Geo-Political Risk and Sourcing Risk OR have country sanctions.

­Contributing to conflict-free trade by encouraging our suppliers not to discriminate against legitimate sources of Conflict Minerals.

In addition to carefully tracking our sources for tantalum, tin, tungsten, and gold, in 2023-24, we continue to expand our survey to cover the use of Cobalt and Mica in AIMSYS products.

In addition, we are committed to engaging with our customers regarding their disclosure obligations.
